You will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks and accounting.
The Role
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payables and receivables
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Plan, assign and review Junior Accountant’s work
- Perform month-end and year-end closing process
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with Local GAAP principles
- Assist with tax audits and prepare tax returns
- Produce error-free accounting reports
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance
- Checking and performing cash receipt report
- Monitoring and supporting LoBs for billings (both intercompany and clients) and collections by leading Junior Finance Specialist while working with project assistants closely
- Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Finance Management
- Perform all local compliance reporting as necessary
- Review reinsurance policy accounting entries
- Follow up legal and tax requirement and its deadlines
- E-ledger submission
- Support Assistant Finance Manager for other accounting and tax related issues and reports
- As needed, assist with other accounting projects
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy, or a related field,
- At least 4 years work experience in multinational and/or Big Four audit and advisory companies
- A can-do attitude
- Careful, detail-oriented work attitude, patient personality, believes in teamwork
- Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office applications especially Excel
- Advance English communication skills, both verbal and written
- All male candidates must have completed their military services
- Well organised with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a high performing team environment.
